I made the mistake of wandering through campus, specifically passing by the music school.
Now I remember why I try to avoid that area of campus as much as possible.
It's the only place I know I would have truly been happy at the UA.
Unfortunately, I never thought I was good enough to be a student there.
So I settled for science.
As soon as I graduate I will pursue music again.
It's the only thing in my life that makes me truly smile.

We made this Creamy Pesto Sauce....yum.
Mind you, Felix and I are terrible cooks. So we're going to attempt to cook dinner with eachother as much as possible to improve. Ha.
I'm proud of us. We had to make a roux first (oil mixed with flour)
and the first time we did this, we failed miserably.
We made a concoction that resembled very chunky vomit.
But we tried again and did a little better.
Garlic, oil, and flour. Then added milk. Then pesto.
Mmm.



So dinner was pesto tortellini






Dessert was Tiramisu. AHHH.
I want to learn how to make homemade tiramisu.

Felix is sick though, so today I went and bought some vitamins.
Going to up the tea intake too.
Last thing I need is to catch whatever he has.

All in all, happy to have made a yummy meal! Yay go us.

The thing that I am most excited about now that I'm on food stamps is that I will be able to experiment with new foods I've been too nervous to try (out of fear of wasting my money on something I won't like)

And also....I CAN MAKE MY VEGAN CUPCAKES NOW!!

Reflecting on my midterms, I am disappointed.
I failed one (but it was a better grade than I was expecting LOL)
Got a B on another (which is OK but the answers were so simple and I made them way more difficult than needed-be)
And my classics grade is still unknown.

This second half of the semester, I really need to focus.
I will not be okay with getting Cs.
Considering how the beginning of my semester started, Bs are OKAY but still.
I am an A student who fucked everything up at the beginning and have been playing catchup since.

Felix is becoming not only my boyfriend but my best friend. (well, I would hope so...)
however we both have our anxieties and insecurities and I hope he is willing to work with me on them.

Had a blast with Felix in Phoenix. Hehe.
I'm really happy with him.
